- Am I contracted with this company for any length of time beyond a single contract?
- What does this company provide for relocation costs? And what is covered? (lodging, food, gas, etc.) Is the relocation cost only covered between work sites, or will this begin for my initial contract? When would I receive my relocation cost reimbursement?
- What is this company’s policy for licensure reimbursement? And how long do I have to wait for reimbursement? (Ask about reimbursement for all associated fees: i.e. score transfers, state verification for future licenses, fingerprinting fees, etc.)
- What does the company offer for CEUs? (online training? money toward hands-on courses?)
- Does the company provide any loan reimbursement?
- Does the company provide malpractice insurance?
- How does insurance coverage work? Can we defer insurance coverage for a higher pay rate if we are still <26 years old?
- Does the benefit package start day one?
- How much time can I take off between contracts while keeping my benefits? Do I keep my benefits for each week even if I take a short vacation/long weekend trip?
- Does this company provide housing options? Or am I on my own?
- Could a rental car be negotiated into a contract?
- What is the timeline for scheduling successive assignments?
- Who are we supposed to contact if a contract is unethical or we do not feel safe somewhere?
- Can PTO be accrued? Is there sick pay?
- Are you usually able to find placements for new grads? Are there any difficulties that new grads tend to run into? Does your company offer a mentorship program for new grads?
- Do you offer referral bonuses?
- Do you offer 401K opportunities? Other retirement benefits?
- Is there anything else we should be aware of?
- Why should we choose your company over another traveling company?
